The Artificial Mirage by T. Warwick Review

A relentless pursuit from Vietnam to Saudi Arabia in which augmented reality distorts the nature of attachment and desire. In a world where augmented reality blurs the line between the real and the computer generated, Charlie cherishes the reality of Lauren.... His life as a young American banker in Vietnam seems idyllic until a series of events precipitate her disappearance. When her trail leads to Saudi Arabia, he must navigate a criminal underworld. The stakes grow higher as it becomes apparent that reality isn’t what it once was.

My Review:
This was a thought provoking book about technology. How far can technology be advanced? To have 3d glasses and Virtual reality devices may only be the beginning. The gaming systems have Eyetoy and Kinect. This book may not be fiction, it may be our future. That is why I loved this book. I thought that it was a possibility in the future. I also liked that Charlie loved Lauren and he was willing to find her again, no matter what. I also enjoyed the ending. The mystery of the criminal empire did not end like I thought it would, and that is a good thing!
I am giving this book a 5/5. I was given a copy to review, however all opinions are my own!
