The Guys Are Props Club by Ingrid Seymour Huge giveaways!

Title: The Guys Are Props Club
Author: Ingrid Seymour
Date of Publication: July 15, 2013
Genre: New Adult Contemporary Romance

Blurb:

During her senior year in high school, Maddie Burch promised herself not to ever fall for a cute guy – or any guy – again. Cute guys are players and not to be trusted, a fact she learned the hard way when her first boyfriend ran her heart through a paper shredder. Two years later, her promise is still intact, and she’s determined to make it through college without falling victim to another creep. She has her job, school and The Guys Are Props Club to keep her mind and hormones in check.

The club was founded by Jessica, Maddie’s best friend. It is a sisterhood of girls who have fallen prey to heartless jerks and who have vowed to turn the tables. Once a semester, Jessica requires members to “do onto others as they’ve done unto you.” Setting the example, Jessica’s next play is Sebastian Capello, a theater major with heartthrob looks and a flair for Latin dance, whose heart she plans to break the way hers was once broken.

What the friends don’t know is that Sebastian is different. Despite his perfect looks and popularity, he’s not a jerk. He doesn’t play games to get his way. Instead, he keeps it real and goes after what he wants with honest intentions. And what he wants is not a bombshell like Jessica, but a down-to-earth girl like Maddie – even if it causes a riff in the girl’s friendship. Even if it means getting Maddie to break her personal vow.

*** Due to language and sexual situations this book is recommended for ages 17 and older.

Author Interview:
1. Do you have a certain "lucky" "prop" you have with you when you write?
To be honest, I don’t. I hope that doesn’t make me less interesting, LOL. It is just me, my ideas and a keyboard, sometimes even a piece of paper.

2. What was the title of the first book you ever wanted to write? successful or not?
The title of that book is Frozen. It is a YA fantasy about a Mayan boy who finds a magical flower that changes his life in the most inscrutable way. One day, I will publish this story. It is really a very touching, beautiful one. Promise to self!

3. What is your favorite environment to write in?
I like writing when all is quiet, preferably at night with the lights dimmed. I have just the spot in my house. I have everything I need within reach: my computer and the internet J Sometimes I will play music to get me in a certain mood before I start writing, but while I’m typing, I only want to hear the click, clack of the keyboard and my own thoughts.

4. What is your favorite game?
I love all kinds of games. Video games, board games, physical games. I’ve always been a Tetris geek. In board games, I like Cranium and if I have to get out there and play sports, my favorite are volleyball and tennis.

5. What would you like my readers to know?
I want to thank them for participating in the Blog Tour and thank you as well for hosting me!! JI hope they give The Guys Are Props Club a chance and enjoy it. Indie authors have only their readers to thank for spreading the word and writing reviews, and we all tremendously appreciate the help. If you’d like to contact me for any reason, please do. I love making friends and connecting with everyone. It is so much fun!
