Blind since childhood, Sierra is satisfied with her success as a relationship therapist. Contacting 1Night Stand is an outlet for her physical needs, or so she tells herself. When she meets Daniel, the chemistry is definitely there, but a single parent with a child has the terrifying potential to disrupt her orderly life. After losing his wife in a fire three years before that left him terribly scarred, Daniel has focused on raising his young daughter and little else. Meeting Sierra through 1Night Stand is a way to step back into the world. And he definitely can’t deny the instant attraction. Madame Evangeline has a sweet surprise for them as they discover one another… (Heat level: 4 / Word count – 8k)
I love the 1NS (1 night stand series). Madame Eve runs a dating service called 1NS, and she has a 6th sense of who to pair together. I have read a lot of these books, and I would really like to read them all. They are each different and interested. Some are even paranormal.
Madame Eve has done it again. Daniel automatically feels drawn to Sierra and he is not sure why. He has spent his life as a firefighter saving lives, although there are two lives that he could not save. He is a single father that adores his daughter. Sierra has issues from her past that also haunt her. They are both marred. Daniel has scars from a fire, and Sierra is blind. They both think that they are damaged. They both just want one night, and they never imagine that the attraction to each other would be so strong. Of course there is a reason why they are so attracted to each other. Will they connect the dots before the night is over? Will they both reveal themselves?
This was a really good book about how true beauty is on the inside. I am giving this book a 5/5. I was given a copy to review from Night Owl Reviews. However all opinions are my own. I can not wait to see what is next in the 1NS series!
