Downturns in the stock market and real estate in the last few
years have made us afraid to invest in anything but an insured savings account
or cash in a coffee can. But today's environment has driven bank savings
accounts to such low interest rates, they're not much better than cash. Is it
possible to get high interest rates in today's environment, when banks are
paying 0.1% on savings accounts? Is it possible to find 1% without high minimums
and penalties for withdrawal? What about 5% return? 10%? Yes! Even more than
10%. This Kindle book is dedicated to everyone that has ever lived with
near-zero savings rates from the bank, while paying high service charges and
high interest rates on loans and lines of credit… often to the same bank. And to
anyone who's ready to start growing their nest egg at a much faster rate. In
this book you'll learn where to look for those high rates, and some new ways of
managing your money. Includes links to many resources. Over 6750 words. A
companion to the larger book 100 Ways to Save and Grow Your Money: Financial
Fitness for Regular People (paperback and Kindle).

My Reviews:
I have to admit I am an impulse buyer. I do not save, and it has not been easy when an emergency happens, and I need cash. As I read 100 ways to save and grow your money I knew that I could do a few of these things. $1 a day in a jar is easy to do. The author wrote in terms I could understand and I learned so much about the financial world. I knew nothing about tax credits/ deductions, or the amount of watts my appliances use. This book also talked about IRAs. I now understand how these things work and how to save money using them. This book touched on every possible way to save money. Even coupons were discussed. I am so glad I read this book, and I am going to try a few of the easy ways to save. I am giving this book a 5/5! I was given a copy to review, however all opinions are my own!
I also got the opportunity to review "Getting 10%: Great Returns of 1%, 5%, 10% and More on Your Money". This is a companion book to 100 ways. Again I learned so much from his author. I learned about CD's, interest and other ways to save your money. I never understood 401k's before either. I am going to make a list about impulse buying and keep it in my purse. Hopefully When I am in the store I will have the willpower to save money! This too was a great book, and deserves a 5/5! I was given a copy to review, however all opinions are my own! Giveaway!
