Angelia Almos' love affair with horses began when she was five years old and talked her parents into her first riding lesson. Horses have always been a huge part of her life. The initial idea behind Horse Charmer came to her when she was fourteen. The image of a teenage girl riding her horse through a meadow appeared. Who was this girl? Where was she going? What was she running from? Those questions led to the creation of Horse Charmer.

My Review:
A lot of girls collect horses. A lot of girls also want a pony. When I read this book I thought that I would have loved this book when I was little and wanted a pony. I love that Cassia was a princess that grew as the story progressed and she became a princess worthy of being a queen! It was sad when her dad died and she had to marry someone she didn't love. However she suspects foul play and is determined to find out who and why. I also loved the paranormal twist and enjoyed when Cassia used her gift.
I can not wait to finish reading it with my niece. We started it and we are reading it slowly (kindle version). Her brother rode a horse a few weeks ago, and now she is so excited. We talk about castles and kingdoms. We also compare what is different from that period and ours (clothes for example).I really liked this book, and hope that the author writes a sequel!
