Commissioned in White by Donna McDonald Review!

What do multiple weddings, a new career for Ellen, several characters moving, and a gallery opening have in common? They’re all in this new 44k word novella in the Art of Love series. There are also scenes that will reveal the characters for Books 5 and 6 coming next year. For max enjoyment, reading the previous 3 books is highly recommended.

BONUS: Contains two 3-chapter excerpts. One is from NEXT SONG I SING. One is from THE DEMON OF SYNAR.

For those of you who read the Never Too Late series, but not this one yet, the Art of Love series is a bit different. It is slightly more serious than the first series, but it does have many humorous moments. The first three books in the series center around a family of male artists consisting of a father and two adult sons. This fourth book is purposely more light and humorous than the full stories. It’s goal is to provide pleasure, answer questions, and tide readers over until 2012.

ART OF LOVE series is about men and women who lead complicated, intense lives honoring their creativity enough to struggle to make a living with it. The series starts around an older man with two adult sons. I wanted to show loving and good, yet imperfect males in all their glory. I wanted to show that love really can overcome many things that seem insurmountable.

About the author:
After 35 years of doing everything for a living except writing books, I finally published my first romance novel in March of 2011. Sixteen novels later, I am living my own "happily ever after" life as an author. I love writing romance. It is the best job I have ever had. I love to hear from readers and try to always answer back.
Thank you for reading my books. Hope you enjoy them.

My Review:
I love this series. The last book left off with me wondering about the newly married couple. This book was semi-focused on their new living arrangement and getting used to each other. I am not going to say names , because I don't want to say who got married! The book was also about Will and Jessica's wedding and the opening of the awaited art studio. I loved when the studio opened and all the "couples" were there. It was funny to see how Newlywed Will interacts with his sons, some newlyweds themselves, and some planning their wedding. This book also talked about the brother that is writing a book, and what might be in the book! This book was really funny at times, and did a fantastic job of nicely closing up the other 3 books. All the characters were in it, and they all had a happy ending. I loved when Reesa saw all the pictures that Shane drew of her when they were apart. I also loved that this was the "wedding book". So many weddings and so much drama. I can not wait to read book 4 and 5. I think I know who the series is about, and I hope that there are some babies! I would love to see Will change a diaper!
I am giving this book a 5/5. I was given a copy to review, however all opinions are my own!
