Unrivaled by Siri Mitchell review!

Lucy Kendall returns from a tour of the Continent, her luggage filled with the latest fashions and a mind fired by inspiration. After tasting Europe's best confections, she's sure she'll come up with a recipe that will save her father's struggling candy business and reverse their fortunes. But she soon discovers that their biggest competitor, the cheat who swindled her father out of his prize recipe, has now hired a promotions manager--a cocky, handsome out-of-towner who gets under Lucy’s skin.

My Review:
I loved that this was a strong female character in the early 20th century. Lucy went to the continent by herself, and returned home to a business that was failing. She picked up some candy secrets in her travels and she could not wait to try out new recipes. Lucy was determined to save her father's company. No matter what it cost her. Even her mother has given up. Lucy is too stubborn to walk away. She ends up acting in ways that she never thought she would.
Her competitor is also her love interest, of course, and he doesn't realize who she is until it is too late, for both their hearts.
As they both follow their stubborn sides, rather then their hearts, they only see one thing. They have tunnel vision for knocking out each other.
When all is said and done can their hearts be mended? Do they want their hearts to mend?
I am giving this book a 5/5 because the candy industry was a new read for me. I was given a copy to review from Bethany house for review, however all opinions are my own!
