My Review:
This was a very nice short romance. I have to admit though that I would have liked to see more of some of the characters. I really liked that Gwynn went back in time where there are no cell phones and no Internet. I also enjoyed the way that she had to tend to animals, in a way that not many people do today. Slate is also a good character to like. He "omits" the truth to keep himself from lying. However can Gwynn really leave her life behind? Will Slate let her go? What do the visions mean? Are they from the future or the past? Only the Tarot card reader can give them answers. What if they are not the answers they want to hear?
This book dealt with time travel very well, and all of the time "warp" questions I had were answered. In only 92 pages! I am giving this book/novella a 5/5 ! I recommend it, and would read it again. I would also enjoy more stories on the characters!

When fate offers Gwynn Powell a chance to start over, she
jumps at the opportunity. Laid off and living with a husband whose gambling
problem has eaten through a good part of their savings, Gwynn buys a farmhouse
sight unseen, leaving both her marriage and her old home behind.
But fate has more in mind for Gwynn than just a new home.
The farmhouse, tucked away in the Green Mountains of Vermont where even GPS
can’t find it, is also a step back in time. And Slate Peck, the farm’s
caretaker and part owner, is tied to Gwynn’s destiny in ways she never expected.
