Description
Jesus loves you.
That profound fact has been changing lives around the world for centuries. Yet, there are days when you don’t experience this completely in your own life. So, how do you get to the very core of that statement on a deep, personal level?
Keri Wyatt Kent wants to help you fully experience the heart of Jesus’ love in Deeply Loved. Using the gospel stories of Jesus, reflection, and personal stories, Kent will guide you through 40 days of how to create space in your life for Jesus to show up and love you. Deeply.
This is such a good book to have by your nightstand ( also where I have my family Bible). There are 40 ways in 40 days to experience the heart of Jesus. This is perfect for Lent! Which I can not believe it is Lent already. Crazy Crazy. Time flies. However that makes this book all that more important to your daily religious goals during Lent. I know that we are supposed to give something up for Lent, but what if some of us did something instead. What if we read a chapter a day. Or did a kind deed a day? There are so many different ways that we can pay it forward. Even in the name of Jesus. I was chosen to review Chapter/Day 7 Prayer of Adoration.
What is Adoration? I got two definitions, worship or deep love or esteem. If you deeply love someone you can talk to them and ask them for anything. That is what I got out of this chapter. God is love, and he answers our prayers. We need to be listening.
I really like this book, and I recommend it for every one with a Bible. The chapters are short and there are exercises at the end of each chapter to complete. I give this book a 5/5.
I was given this book to review, but all opinions are my own.
