Courting Cate by Leslie Gould book review

Courting Cate by Leslie Gould
So I am starting to get addicted to Amish romances. Ugh. lol. I have to admit they are sweet romances that take place in towns that make you want to move. Once you read an Amish book you are stuck waiting for the next in the series. Courting Cate takes place in Lancaster County. As soon as I read this book I was searching online. The next book Adoring Addie comes out in 2013. It is definitely on my list. I am going to save this book too, so I can reread it before I read about Addie.
This book is about a family that the author calls A retelling of “The Taming of the Shrew" on her website.
What would you do for your sister that you raised from birth? Cate does whatever she can for her sister. But when she finds herself in love she realizes that she has to start taking care of herself. Is it too late for Cate? Pete has secrets that will break Cate's heart, but does Cate know the whole story?
I really liked this book because Cate is a bookworm and she is not good in the kitchen. It was great to see her grow throughout the book. I also really disliked her sister Betsy! What a spoiled brat!
Even towards the end of the book Betsy was humiliating Cate.  I would definitely recommend this to anyone that likes to read romances!
Disclosure: I got a copy of this book from Bethany House in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own!
