Emma' s Secret by Steena Holmes! Review. Summer reading road trip!

Setting:
We’ve traveled all the way from Big Sky Country, Montana to the cool, serene municipality of Kincardine — just in time for Canada Day! We’ll grab the perfect spot along the pier to ooh and ahh over the fireworks. (Of course, we had to end our trip with a bang)!
Plot:
Can you imagine what it would be like to bring your daughter — that has been missing — home? Finally? The walls you’ve built to protect yourself from the loss don’t disappear in the blink of an eye. The hurt still lingers. The fear. The much-anticipated follow up to Holmes’ best-selling Finding EmmaEmma’s Secret is about the joy, heartache and fear of bringing a lost child home …
My Review:
This book made me cry. I instantly went on amazon to find out how much Finding Emma was. I was so mad when I also saw that Dear Jack was also a part of this series. I was mad because I wanted to read them now. This is the story of 2 families that love a child so much that they both want her. It is the sequel to a story where a family member stole her from her parents. The people now fighting over her are innocent. It is with love and forgiveness that Emma will be able to be happy. Emma is the real victim, and the one getting hurt the most. She doesn't understand why she had to leave her papa and never see him again. Nor does she understand why her mother is so overprotective, She is caught in the middle of a web that Dottie created (the woman who stole her). I have no clue what I would do. I never want to know.
I am giving this book a 5/5. I was given a copy to review, however all opinions are my own.
