CVS trip's

This was my Hubby's 1st order:
2 Rubbermaid Takealong food containers $2.99 on sale for $0.75 each = $1.50
3 6pc Bath towel set(2 body, 2 face, 2 hand) $12.99 on sale for $3.25 each(under baskets)= $9.75
6 5pk Dish towels $3.99 on sale for $0.99 each = $5.94
5 3pk Kitchen towels $3.99 on sale for $0.99 each = $4.95
10 Pringles $0.88 each = $8.80
3 Glade Sprays $1.89 on sale for $0.99 each = $2.97
6 Excedrin $4.70 on sale for $1.99 each = $11.94
5 Olay Facial Wipes $5.99 on sale for $5 = $25
1 Skintimate Shave cream $3.49
2 Bamboo Baskets $1.99 each = $3.98
4 CoverGirl Eyeshadow $3.49 each = $13.96

5 $3/1 Olay Definity OR Facial Cleansers
6 $2/1 Excedrin (online at www.excedrin.com and from Sunday papers)
5 $2/1 Stayfree (online at www.stayfree.com I think..... my sis found this 1, and printed me out some... YES there is no printout limit!!!!)
2 CVS $2/1 Softsoap (is essence book found in make-up)
2 $2/1 Softsoap Essences Qs from Sunday paper
TOTAL THUS FAR $19.74 and I still had alot more coupons. So my cashier stated that she used too many coupons, and couldn't take the rest, because my total was going to be so low. I stated that I was sorry the Man Qs were perfectly timed with the CVS deals, but that she had to honor the Qs, because I did purchase the correct items. After standing there for about 10 minutes "waiting for manager" that was 2 registers over, she said, I'll just do it! LOL... She was not at all happy with me being patient.

Total OOP $0.09 for some reason tax? bottle deposit? who knows.. still have $20.28 on card, and I earned $3.49 ECBs (skintimate), $10 ECBs (Olay), $10 ECBs (Covergirl), $10 ECBs (Stayfree), $3.98 (baskets), $4 (Softsoap) = $41.47
He saved $227.68, total Spring 2009 spending $0.52

1 Skintimate $3.99 on sale for $3.49, and you get $3.49 in ECBs..Also the ad states a limit of 1 per person, but the limit is actually 2
6 Deluxe Emerson Electric/Recharable Batteries (1 has the round heads) $9.99 on sale for $2.49 each
1 Orbit gum (filler to use $10 ECBs) $1.29
1 Coke $1.59 + $0.05 Deposit
I had no coupons, but I used $46.54 in ECBs, and I earned $3.49 in ECBs

  1. Hey I can't find the stayfree $2 off coupon, the only one I can find is only good in Canada. Is that the one you printed? The stores around here never have clearance like this, where did you guys go? Vernon?

  2. My sis found the Stayfree coupon, I never read it LOL, I just used it... My card has 5 more available tho, so I need to print more out, and I'll look and see. I'll try to post the link as well! I know my sis has it saved in her favorites!
    We went to Vernon, and West Hartford! We made a CVSing road trip!
